Trips and Visits 2025
These are the events/runs/ trips we ran in 2025. If you wish to find out more about them contact the members noted.

- Biker Down Course – Held on Saturday 8th March at Banbury Fire Station – contact Mike Phipps
- Visit to the ERF waste recycling centre on Wednesday 26th March 2025 – this was a successful event – members now all ‘au fe’ with what to put in which bin, and what happens to it)
- Trip to Devon, with a few night’s stays – one event was run on the 19th to 22nd March, the second run had to be cancelled due to ill health. contact Geoff Wheeler for more information
- Trip to Spain – speak to Phil Schofield or Dave Carr – this took place between April 27th to 13th May. The itinerary changed with the wether , however the riders visited the Pyrenees, briefly touched Portugal and finished in the Picos
- Fish and chip run to Moreton in Marsh. 04 June 2025- a good turnout of members/partners on various bikes cars and camper vans. Buy your own F&C’s, had a natter, a cheeky pint in the pub, and rode home.
- Vintage Bike taster night Members of the BCMC (only) were invited to try riding a true Vintage and/or Vintage sidecar outfit at Hinton Aerodrome on Tuesday 15th July. 7.00 pm at Hinton Aerodrome. Contact Mike Phipps .
- Trip through Europe, into Croatia, and back. 28/06/2025 – – duration for 2+weeks visited 10 countries including riding the Stelvio in snow, in the middle of summer- speak to Mike Phipps for further details.
- Extra Girder fork run, a run to the Kineton Bike social on 4th August @ 6 p.m. Meeting up with other section attending members.
- Tysoe flower show, 16th August ’25. We hosted a display stand promoting the club. Contact Philip Schofield
- One Night Stand – a 2 day (1 night) longer UK run visiting interesting attractions both on the outbound and inbound legs.
- First date – 16th -17th August, with a ride to then Signal museum, Blandford, visit to Poole Bike Night, 1 night at Highcliffe, next day to Sammy Millers, and home in time for Tea. Contact Phil Schofield
- Date TBC – Visit to the Norton Factory. Details here asap.
Club nights and other events
Club nights are a great place to come along and meet the other members and see if the club is for you. We try to arrange a good mix between speakers and purely social nights. The provisional schedule is still being finalised, with some great ideas for new formats.
All Meetings take place at Kings Sutton Memorial Hall, Astrop Rd, Kings Sutton, OX17 3PG at 7.30 for 8.00, unless noted otherwise
